I adopted a cat (about 6 yo) for about 3 months now. He's generally nice and seems to bond at some level - sleeping at my feet, licking me, headbutting my face etc. However, he's developing the habit of biting my head (and gf's) at night, which hurts me a lot. I hate to separate him at night but it has been our only resort. At first we thought it was his way to ask for stuff, but eventually we made a habit of filling his food and water and cleaning his litter box before sleep, but to no avail.
Is there anything we can do in hopes that he stops doing that? I'd love to sleep peacefully around him again.
