Context: My dog is a 2 year old hound/GSD mix. He has a single coat with medium/short hair. He has pretty bad separation anxiety but has recently been prescribed Trazodone.
My question is this: can my dog be left in a car for a maximum of 60 minutes? The forecast for tomorrow noon is mid 20's F (~ -4C).
I have class MWF for 50 minutes. It's a 1 minute walk between the building to the car, and we don't go over the 50 minutes. I've gotten warnings from apartment management in the past about his barking when I leave, so I'm trying to weigh in this option. He barks in the car, but not as much. I'm also considering day care, but that will get very expensive and I don't have an income currently. I'm assuming the short question to this is no, but I figured I'd at least ask.
