My cat used to sleep through the night

As the title says I've had my furr baby for a month now, after the adjustment period he slept through the night till 9 am, but after a while he started to wake up early, I didn't mind but now almost every day he keeps getting earlier and earlier. And it's taking a toll on my body, today he woke at 5 am. I mean he wakes up and scratches the door (can't sleep with an open door) and goes out to drink and use the litter even if I leave the door open he will meow loudly till I go pick him up and return him to the room, by then I can't sleep much. Is sleep behavior change normal or should I be worried? and if it's not something for the vet how do I get him to sleep again, it's physically difficult for me
