I recently adopted a 4-month old cat this morning. I went to get some food and bowl for her to eat but when I came back, I can't find her anymore. My mom said she was in the couch hiding but I couldn't see her there so we flipped the couch to check if she was there. There was a hole but she wasn't there. I still couldn't see her but i swear i heard a little sound. I'm not as sure if she's hiding in the hole or not. So I checked every furniture under and still couldn't find her. My family members keep joking and telling me that the cat must have gone away. I'm so worried. I placed wet and dry food for her near the sofa. But I'm scared because she might have escaped. Cat owners/ fosterers, please give me any advice on this. I honestly don't know what to do. Should I be worried or just wait it out?
