Service Dog Stuck in DR

Hello,

I have a friend who's aunt was going to send over her service dog from Dominican Republic. My friend just found out that the dog, being a Chow Chow (a snub nosed breed) is at higher risk when flying because of air pressure and respiratory problems. Are there any airlines that take extra precautions with air pressure to mitigate risks to such breeds of dogs? I've gently told my friend that if the risk is too high for the dog, it might be better to let her stay where she is. But still, worth looking into if we can unite them.

Thanks for any advice
