Very nervous about getting my cat spayed

A few month ago I adopted my first cat, and I love her more than anything. She is about 6 months old, so she definitely needs to be spayed. I made an appointment for the day after tomorrow.

I feel horrible though because the vet is 40 minutes away and she gets really scared whenever I have to drive her somewhere. And then I'm just gonna abandon her at the vet's office. I'll be back in a few hours of course, but she doesn't know that!

As for the surgery itself I am worried because I've heard horror stories about cats ripping their stitches and their intestines falling out. What if the vet doesn't give me a cone? And I know they aren't supposed to jump on things but she is very playful and likes to jump on everything. How do I keep her from jumping? I have class in the evening the day after surgery so I will be gone for a few hours. How am I supposed to make sure she's not doing fuckin parkour in the living room?

Is the surgery painful? Is there like a cat version of Tylenol I can give her? This is very stressful. She is sitting on my lap purring and I feel like a bad mom lol

Any advice or things you have learned from your experiences will be very helpful. Thanks!
