My family's house has been visited by various feral cats for the past 4 years. There are lots of cats on our street. I think some of them were even domesticated. Some of them has given birth in our house. My parents feed them and lets them come and go however they please. 2 of them are dead now. I'm not sure if it was food poisoning or what. They just stopped eating. My parents still feeds the left behind kitten. He's an adult cat now, about 3 years old. Like his parents, he comes and goes. Today, a neighbor said that their TV was broken by our cat last Monday. There was no solid evidence such as pictures or video of our cat doing it. Like I've said there's a lot of cats on our street and I just want a solid evidence if we are bound to pay them. The neighbors stated that our cat usually stays in their house, my parents sometimes see our cat outside their homes as well. I'm confused how to deal with the situation as the cat isn't owned legally by anyone. Is my family responsible for buying the neighbor a new TV?
