I made a post previously painting Cerenia in a negative light, and I did remove it as many others had valid points as all drugs have side effects, and science does prove it is mostly effective. I have no argument against this. Instead, all I would like to do is share my dog's experience after taking Cerenia.
See below -
- He was diagnosed with kidney failure (unfortunately, this is why he had to leave us at 15.5 years of age)
- Prior to giving him the Cerenia tablet, he was able to walk, go to the washroom, even jog, was eating, drinking water, walking around the house.
- Once I gave him the Cerenia tablet, he unable to walk, he wouldn't drink water (I had to give him through a syringe), he would not eat, his eyes were barely open. I brought him to his water bowl to try and make him drink water, and he kept falling over.
- The next day, he perked up again. His appetite came back, and he was a lot more alert. His walking never went back to normal - his legs were tucked underneath him and he was only able to walk a few wobbly steps (it got a bit better during the day).
