Cerenia - my dog's experience taking it

I made a post previously painting Cerenia in a negative light, and I did remove it as many others had valid points as all drugs have side effects, and science does prove it is mostly effective. I have no argument against this. Instead, all I would like to do is share my dog's experience after taking Cerenia.

See below -

  1. He was diagnosed with kidney failure (unfortunately, this is why he had to leave us at 15.5 years of age)
  2. Prior to giving him the Cerenia tablet, he was able to walk, go to the washroom, even jog, was eating, drinking water, walking around the house.
  3. Once I gave him the Cerenia tablet, he unable to walk, he wouldn't drink water (I had to give him through a syringe), he would not eat, his eyes were barely open. I brought him to his water bowl to try and make him drink water, and he kept falling over.
  4. The next day, he perked up again. His appetite came back, and he was a lot more alert. His walking never went back to normal - his legs were tucked underneath him and he was only able to walk a few wobbly steps (it got a bit better during the day).
