Family is mean to our dog

A couple of years ago my dad got a german Shepard. We live in a small house so she is inevitably in the way sometimes. She also never gets walked and is never able to go outside, because of this she runs out of the house whenever she gets the chance Understandably. My dad yells at the dog for being in the way and running out of the house says she dumb and that she wants her to get ran over and so on and so forth. This happens in front of my very young siblings (5 & 6) it causes them to hit the dog and yell at it as well. Its super sad and idk how to help the situation, I've offered to bring the dog somewhere where she can get adopted but my dad says no, I try to teach my siblings that yelling at the dog and hitting it is not the way to go about teaching her. Idk its super sad shes a good dog just hasn't been trained and loved, any suggestions ?<3
