When we took our dog to the vet, the vet thought she had aspiration pneumonia from looking at the xrays.
We incorrectly force fed her liquid medicine one time when she was laying on her side. We got her mouth open and squirted it down forcefully about 5ml of liquid medicine with our syringe. She choked and gagged for a second and tried to spit it out. How likely is it for a dog to get aspiration pneumonia from 5ml, could we have caused this?
