I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and have recently started car sitting. I have been surprised about many things:

Cats jump SUPER high, I turned around and the one I’m watching was standing on the counter behind me.

They’re softer than dogs.

They can make beeping noises apparently.

If they turn around on their back, DON’T attempt to give them belly rubs (also cats have sharp claws and teeth)

They can retract their claws which is pretty cool
-
Apparently you can just... drop a cat. You don’t need to set it down gently.

The growling noise they make is a purr, and it means that they like you!
