I’ve been a bad cat parent, and let my kitty’s vaccinations lapse for a few years. It’s been roughly 3 years since she last got her core vaccines, she’s an indoor cat. Anyway, I made an appointment for this Friday to get her updated with her vaccines. She’s a healthy 7 year old, and moving forward I will be on top of her vaccines.
She’s predominantly indoors now, but does frequent my backyard, so I’ve requested to get her the Feline Leukemia vaccine too.
I’m having a bit of anxiety. Because I let her vaccines lapse for a few years, does that mean she will need to restart the boosters for her distemper vaccine?
The clinic I’m taking her to will be social distancing, so I think they’re going to take her while I wait in the car. Which kind of makes me nervous lol I’m just being a worrywort now I know...
