Yesterday I noticed my cat had a small scrape next to her ear like right in front of the ear where you can see their skin easier. I assumed that she simply scratched herself because it's been a little while since we cut her claws (she wiggles a lot). She seemed fine however and didn't act any differently so later I cut them. Today however I looked at it again and there was another little scrape! She was scratching herself near that area earlier so maybe it was just sensitive near there. Also, she seems very prone to getting scrapes since she had a scab on her nose when we adopted her (it has healed).
I was wondering if this is normal and if anyone else's cat does this? She and her sister are the first cats I have had so I don't know too much. Please give me any advice :( although she seems fine I'm hoping this isn't a serious problem or she has to be taken to the vet.
