Kittens in my crawl space?

Apologies in advance for wonky formatting, on mobile.

My house has a crawlspace. We have several stray cats in the neighborhood. The other day my boyfriend and I heard baby kitten meowing in our vents. We discovered a hole to the outside in the crawlspace. I went under the house and found a momma cat and her babies. There are at least three, but I couldn’t tell if there were more. They look approximately three weeks old and to be well fed and healthy.

I’m wondering if it’s safe to leave them there if they’ve got momma and a way to get out? It certainly doesn’t seem like the most comfortable place - it’s dark, damp and cool in there, but they are protected from outside predators. However I didn’t know if they’d be okay just chilling under the house. I know their momma is likely to move them anyways, and I’m afraid if I close up the hole to the crawlspace I’ll unintentionally separate momma and babies or separate the litter.

I would bring them up into our house but the four cats we already have would not be happy. :(

Any advice?
