Okay well I’ll like to add that in terms of affection , he does give a lot of kisses but he hasn’t really shown any affection in other forms like I’ve seen other dogs on the internet or other dogs of my friends do.
He never wants to cuddle and he will never go to sit next to anyone or on anyone’s lap and just lay or sleep there. Anytime me or my mom try to rub him or wrap our arms around him while he’s laying down - he just moves away from us to the opposite side of the bed. He just doesn’t seem to like cuddling and I just want to know if there’s anything I could do about that or is there a way to make him more affectionate in that way ?
I’d like to add that we are extremely affectionate with him and he gets a lot of affection from us. When he was a puppy he’d atleast sleep on my tummy or on my shoulder or even when I would just hold him - he wouldn’t wiggle away and go sleep on the other side of the room - he’d just stay in my arms and was happy to do so. I don’t try to force affectionate or anything onto him but I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced their pet not wanting to cuddle and if they did anything about that ?
