My cat has been scratching himself like crazy for the past few months, we didn’t think much of it since getting him to a vet is a nightmare, he wasn’t hurting himself, just scratching. But now, he scratches himself to much that his fur in certain spots in gone and it also has a kind of irritation in 2 of the spots because he scratched himself so much. What usually happens is that he will start scratching himself in 1 or more small spots for like 3 to 4 weeks to the point where he won’t have any fur and will be irritated, then its like if he stops scratching himself and he heals and then it happens again in another spot. We went to the vet and they did some basic tests and everything that was the most common problems weren’t the problem so they don’t know. Any help is welcome thank you!
