I honestly don't have the money for a vet, but the wellbeing of my cat is imperative so I'll do anything I can for him. He doesn't have increased thirst so I'd like to imagine it's not struvite, He'll go back and forth to the litterbox or tub drain to pee, often only a very little and then none at all when he tries. He'll cry sometimes afterwards (but he's generally always cried out and then went sprinting back and forth through the house excitedly, as though happy). I've seen a minor shade of blood in his urine when he goes down the tub drain. Are there any kits I can order or procedures I can follow to evaluate which is the cause? I'm sure I can educate myself well enough on these matters if provided the information to learn. If this is not possible or urged against, I'll do what I can to afford a vet for the evaluation and such.
Also, when I was told it could be a blockage, UTI, or crystals. I assume they meant urinary obstruction? If so, the symptoms I'm reading don't sound familiar at all.
