When he was a kitten we fed him only wet food until he was a year old and then we switched to dry food for whatever reason. Now I realize that cats need wet food for hydration and of course he won't touch the stuff. I got him to start drinking more water recently, but I can tell he's still not getting the hydration he needs because his pee is super concentrated and odorous. I've tried every brand of food from the super expensive to the cheaper ones, from patte to chunky to gravy, I've tried sprinkling parm on it and things like that and still nothing. I want him to be healthy but I also cannot stand the smell of his litter box, even if I clean it every day the smell lingers until I replace the litter, which I do weekly. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.
