Quality of life for cat?

I have a 4 year old female cat named Holly. She's had a lot of health issues in the past few years.

She developed urinary problems from stress so shes on calming medication, as well as urinary food. Shes also on the diet portion as she is over weight. This is well handled, hasnt been an issue in awhile.

She has severe asthma, to the point where she doesnt play at all, which we are currently treating with steroids but will be trying an inhaler soon.

Shes been acting very off today, taking her to a vet this afternoon, but by the way shes acting and how she's hovering over her water dish I'm thinking its diabetes or kidney problems.

If it is one of the two, how do I know what her quality of life is? If she only had one issue I would obviously be okay treating it, but she's had so many problems, I dont want her on daily meds, inhalers, and injections/kidney medications. What would you do in this situation?
