My 9 month old male cat and my 5 year old female cat get along decently well, they chase each other around and hang out together, but there’s still a fair amount of hissing coming from the older cat. I’ve been putting them younger cat in a separate room when I’m not home, even though I’ve never seen the two cats fighting I’m nervous that something could happen while I’m not there to intervene. Basically I’m just curious how you can tell that it’s safe to leave them unsupervised and be confident (as much as you ever can) that they won’t fight and hurt each other. Anyone have experience or advice to share? Thank you kitty lovers! I’ll post some pics of both babies soon, I know I have to pay the cat tax
