Hi my parents can’t take care of my cats anymore and now that I live on my own I think it’s time to bring my childhood cats (10 and 8) who I have had my entire life.
My dog is a rescue German Shepard and 5 years old.
I have time to ease this transition as there is no hurry, so I want to do this correctly.
My house is two bedrooms so I have a safe place to sequester my cats.
Concerns: - my cats getting lost and scared in their new environment - my cats already don’t get along, but now I don’t know how to get them to like my dog - stress on the cats and dog (who even though he’s 98 pounds he’s a street dog and very scared of a lot of things)
What do I need to do to get them to like one another first?
What do I need to do to ensure that they don’t hurt one another?
