So my family currently has three cats. Ford, who has been with me for about 3 years, is my cat. I provide for him and buy his own food and pay his vet bills. We other two cats that we recently got about a year ago. I love all three of them but Ford has always been my cat you know, I can't imagine living without him. The other two cats, Charlie and Oliver, are basically my sister's cats. Now, I'm off to move to the city with my girlfriend for college and I want to move Ford with me, but my sister is telling me that I shouldn't because it would be mean to Ford and that he'll be lonely. I told her that before getting Charlie and Oliver, he was an only cat and was happy to be so. He loves his siblings but I think he'll be fine being an only cat, for now. I'm thinking of getting another kitten for him, I just have to wait and save money. Am I an asshole and selfish for taking him away? I just can't even think of living in a new home without him.
