8 Week Old Kitten has sores on mouth- help?

For context, I'm a new pet owner. I tried to google it and I couldn't find what I was looking for. So I decided to come here. She is eating fine (mostly dry, kitten specific food, and wet food when I can afford it), she is playing and sleeping just as she should, no weird changes in behaviour, so I don't think I want to run her to the vet right yet until I can gauge what's happening. Like whether it's a sore because she scratched too hard, or played too hard with her brother, or if its something I should worry about.

Her name is Athena, and I'll try to attach a photo somewhere, but I may have to edit the post to add on a photo. She's sweet as can be, but I noticed over the last few days, the little spot where her whiskers are (but close to her mouth) was turning really red, so I touched it to see if it would hurt her, like to be sure it wasn't a sore, she didn't flinch or anything or act like she was in any sort of pain, but it was very very dry? And I noticed another one right inside her lip, but this one looks like she bit her lip, or hit her face on something (she's terribly clumsy). I'm super confused?? Please help???

Edit 1: oh my gosh the little upvote buttons are so CUTE!!!
