We have a 1 year old black lab who eats 2 cups of food per day, usually in the afternoon. She should be eating 4 cups a day, total. She doesnt get many extra snacks through the day aside from about a tablespoon of peanut butter in a long if we leave the house (maybe 4x a week) and dropped morsels of food from the kids at meal times. She is more of a grazer than a crazed (normal lab) that snarfs up her food.
She is about 55lbs, and a small framed lab so looks like a healthy weight. Not to skinny, not over weight. Is this a reason for concern that she only eats a small amount of food each day?
