So I decided to buy an diffuser on Amazon to help me breath better while sleeping, what I didn't know his how dangerous this things are for felines and even canines.
I started using this stupid Anjou essential oil diffuser through Amazon and from only A WEEKS worth of usage, it caused my poor 9yr old cat Petunia to start throwing up, extreme lethargy, problems breathing and various other health problems caused by jaundice. All of which are consistent with exposure to 95% of essential oils.
This company had NO WARNINGS ON THE BOX OR INSTRUCTIONS about the serious hazards this device can cause to felines. Nothing about how sick they become from not being able to absorb the concentrated oils being pumped into the air nor how deathly ill my poor furry best-friend would become by absorbing it through her skin.
Felines cannot process 95% of essential oils out there and they do not warm you of the horrors your little family member will go through. My cat is my bestfriend and she has now been at the vet(the best one I've ever known) 3 days and I've already racked up a $639 vet bill.
Please, please please inform yourself about the hazards these things cause. I've been balling my eyes out for days because I don't know if she's going to survive and my whole world is falling apart because I love this cat more than words can express.
I don't want anyone to ever have to go through the pain and repercussions of using one of these stupid things EVER AGAIN.
