Advice/tips on how to keep your multi-pet house smell fresh all the time

Basically what the title says.

I have 4 cats and a small, short-haired dog. I vacuum every day and mop every other day. I clean the litterboxes several times a day, basically immediately after a cat uses it. I even use a powder for litter to make it smell nice and it does work. However recently a neighbor I got into an argument with started complaining that the hallway in the building smells because of my pets and I find that impossible. He says I just got used to the smell, but I'm very sensitive when it comes to smells lol. But if he is truly right, is there anything else I can do to keep my house pet smell free?

Thanks!
