Hello, So, as you can guess, I have a cat. I recently got a little security camera to check on him and my apartment in general and I started getting sound alerts. The alerts are my cat crying /wailing. He doesn't do this when I'm at home and he's been to the vet and they say he's healthy. He has food, water, a clean litter box, toys, etc.
He only does this when I'm out. I hadn't heard him before getting the camera. He will do this until he gets tired and take a nap, and then start again in the afternoon. He usually does this about 2-3 times a hour.
I'm not sure what's wrong or what to do. He's healthy, cared for, why is he wailing in the middle of the apartment? Should I be buying more things for him to do? Is that his way of saying he doesn't like the food? I just feel bad that I'm at work and he's left crying in the living room. I previously had a cat for 17 years and had a camera for her too and she was pretty quiet (that camera broke, which is why I'm just finding out about this cat after replacing it).
What should I do?
