So my dog is a 4 year old mutt (Jack Russell, Chihuahua, Corgi mix or so we think). He's got allergies which we've been treating with benadryl (Vet told us to, were using steroids but those caused him to pee everywhere in the house), it's helped so far. But just recently (As in two days ago) he's been acting very odd. When anyone goes to scratch his butt, which he usually loves, he'll arch his back away from the touch and scoot away from the person. His paw pads are also red, he's more skittish and hiding under a chair in our living room or the dining table.
My father gave him a bath yesterday, to help with his allergies but that hasn't stopped the arching away from his hips/butt area being touched.
He's got a vet appointment tomorrow, but is there anyone who may have an idea of what's going on with him?
