One of my beloved customers has some health issues and I adopted my customer's cat. A beautiful 3 year old Siamese mix male. Not intact. His previous owner is a Horder of things not pets and the only cat and was in a toxic environment and was allowed outdoors. The cat is very frightened and has been for two days. He is not eating or drinking. He shakes when he is approached. He does allow me to pet him and isn't hissy. My other two female cats..2 years and 3 months have been separated from him but they are curious and when they got into the room they approached the new cat cautiously and he accepted the sniff but mostly ignored them. How can I help him adjust? It breaks my heart and I want him to be happy in his new home.
