We carried her into our lawn and she ran up, and there were blood everywhere and I ran after her and she was in our bed, and her front leg bone was sticking out completely.
We carried her down to the car and took her straight to the vet, where they concluded that a lot of skin had been ripped off. She was in pain, but despite this she was calm and let everyone help her.
I love her so much.
We then took her to the veterinary hospital and she stayed the night and everything looked better. No bones were broken and they said we would need a specialist to fix the skin.
However, the day after they told us that they would need to amputate the leg and that the other leg had fractures in it and skin was loose, meaning she wouldn’t have even one front leg to support her.
I saw her suffering and we had to put her down. The whole family came here including my kids and said goodbye and she fell asleep like she knew she was going, and she didn’t even feel the final injection.
I have been crying for days and I haven’t eaten and I am not sleeping.
How do I go on with my life?
