My cat's name is Jesse and he is 13yrs old. We've had him since he was 3 days old. A few years ago he had to get surgery because of crystals in his bladder from a type of cat food. Shortly after that, we were told he had thyroid problems which caused him to get fat. Recently, he has gone through rapid weight loss to the point I can feel his ribs. He is eating plenty and doesn't seem to be in pain. My mother says he is probably dying but I really don't want it to be true. He means the world to me and unfortunately my mother and I can't afford to take him to vet for the care he needs. Any clue as to what I should do?
