My cat is about 1 and a half years old. I have another cat who is a year older that loves to eat wires so I adopted the younger one so she has someone to play with. My new cat Katie however LOVES to pee on the carpet. Shes pees in the litterbox sometimes but its hard to get her to pee into the litterbox all the time. I've used different brands of litter. I've tried giving her treats whenever she pees in the litterbox to see if that'll help teach her. I've taken her to the vet about 5 times and shes perfectly healthy so they think its just a behavioral issue. She also never covers her poop or pee in the litterbox. I have 3 litterboxes around the house and whenever she pees on the carpet I use nature miracle. I don't want to rehome her but her constantly peeing on the carpet and having to clean up after her everyday is just tiring. How can I teach her to only pee in the litterbox?
