A few months ago my cat had a severe urinary blockage where he had to stay at the vet for three days to be treated. After the procedure he was placed on a prescription diet designed for urinary problem and for a while he seemed fine. Now in the last month or so instead of peeing in the litter box he goes in random spots around the house leaving puddles wherever he goes. We took him back to the vet but all they did was give him a couple of shots and a few pills as they didn’t think he reblocked but the problem of him peeing outside his box persists. Should I take him back to the vet again? The vet bills have been very expensive and I’m hesitant to bring him back if they’re just gonna give him another shot which did nothing the last time. We are getting frustrated because there doesn’t seem to be an easy solution to this.
