My new cat keeps licking himself in same/similar spots to where I was petting him, along with other spots.
I know they self clean by licking themselves but he seems to be going at it.
I washed my hands with some hand soap, dried them and started petting him again and while not sounding distressed, he has been licking himself for the past 5 minutes or so.
Am I overreacting?
