Raw cat food?

I’m interested in getting a cat when I move out. I’m very interested in my own health so I stay away from processed foods as much as possible. So I’m thinking to do the same with my future pet.

I’ve seen some different takes on raw cat food, so I’m trying to gather some more info.

  1. Wouldn’t it be better to use small bird animals like poultry, than say beef that a small cat wouldn’t naturally get all the time? (I’ve seen many cat owners use at least half ground beed in their mixtures)

  2. How much organ meat should we be using? Is it a small amount every day or a decent amount a few times a week? What kinds of organs can and should be used?(I’ve seen most owners make their mixture about 1/4-1/5 organ meats, mostly chicken hearts, liver and your general kinds of liver ((beef or sheep))

  3. Why isnt a whole egg used, but just the yolks? I know vitamins need fat to bind to in order to be absorbed, but isn’t the whole mixture fatty enough to make sure this happens and isn’t it a waste of protein to omit the whites?

Please, please do of course tell me exactly why I should be sticking to cooked, processed, pouched or tinned cat food. It should only be a genuine case of malnourishment due to raw cat food that was made ‘properly’ and not someone who just gave their cat chicken beast. Thank you.
