My lovely dog (2 year old mix 70 lbs) had heart worms shortly after I rescued him. We did the full treatment and he became negative again. Now, a year later, he’s positive again. So we have to do treatment again. The treatment is harsh. 3 months of medication, very limited time outside, and a few nights away at the vet. it’s also going to be expensive. I want to know if anyone has ever totally beaten this disease. I don’t want to do this every year.
