My friend just got a kitten and we (boyfriend and I) made plans to go over and visit. We get a call the day before and my friend casually drops that her kitten got treated for fleas on Thursday. What are the chances of us tracking home fleas to our cat if we visit their home (on Sunday)? Even if the kitten was treated, is there a chance that their home may have fleas?
Our cat isn't on any flea preventatives since she's strictly an indoor cat. We also have a dog that is on preventatives so we're not too concerned with our dog catching fleas.
