Hey mods and anyone in control of the comunity
When i posted asking for help with my cats teeth people acted like they knew the whole storey and were realy rude expecting me to give up my cat of 8 years in my familys care becouse we missed one health problem
It sucks becouse i got nothing on how to dull the symptoms or help with plague on her teeth that was left
Not only that i made it clear that she acted just fine eating drinking ext someone compalined how i was not being good to her and should give her up that it was kinder to do seemingly forgetting that i noted financial problems to them they seemed to read part of what i posted and left the rest
And on top of that it was toxic people kept telling me to get rid of the cat becouse pf health problems tell me if you had a baby and it got a cold or it had miner dental issues that hurt it but were fixxable and you didnt have money to go to a doctor would you kill it give it up or keep it doing your best and going to a doctors office asking for some help? Apprently these people would choose to kill it becouse no kill shelters still kill they turn down people if they dont have space not only that there isint a shelter nearby
This comunity seems toxic to those of us looking for extra help acting like just a bad spot in money is couse worthy to give up a family member like you would give up you newborn child becouse it got sick and you couldent give it medicines becouse they were all to expensive yeah JUST THROW YOUR CHILD OUT BECOUSE YOU DONT.HAVE MONEY FOR MEDICAL BILLS
Seriously this isint ok to attack someone for trying to help there animals the best they can and honeslty rudeness harassment and disrespect should not be tolerated on any reddit place
Please someone do read this becouse its not ok to tell someone "GET RID OF YOUR PET BECOUSE ITS SICK" instead of "try brushing its teeth or getting special tooth paste and brush to fully brush its teeth" its better to give advice then tell someone to give a family member up
Also often pet owners never notice there pets list a tooth it was days after i found out she lost a tooth that i actraly found the tooth and the fact i never knew she didnt have molors in her mouth before this
Although its bad that i never noticed this keep in mind if i or my family had the money to take them to monthly vet visits we would but we dont we dont even have money to do that areselfs and i did make it clear that a vet was a thing once we had the money
Again its not ok to tell someone to give up a family member just becouse They got sick and the others didn't notice
