Our small dog hates the wet grass, we already know that but for the past month he will not go out on his leash and hang out or go pee. We have been doing this for years with no problem and now all the sudden he just sits on the edge of the porch and tips to come in.
The only things I can think of that changed was the neighbors 1 dog died about a month ago. Also about a month ago we told our 7yr old to actually take him for a walk here and there around the block.
Example: this morning I decided I was going to take him for a walk because the way he has been acting. I put him on the leash and walk. He pees a couple times and when we were literally 5 feet from my property line he decides to squat to do #2 so I hurry him up to my property. He decides he isn't going to go now. So I put him on the leash because I know he has to go. Nothing, just sits on the edge of the porch and yips constantly.
Any ideas?
