Welcome to my tedtalk. Today I'm going to tell you about all the things my dog does for me.
1) He listens to me talk about my day and has learned to make general dog noises back.
2) He just learned to get drinks from the fridge on command (kinda) and he is very proud. It's okay that he brings me a bottle of ketchup sometimes. I appreciate the effort.
3) He keeps all the squirrels and birds away from the house. Many borks are needed.
4) He has helped me pick out outfits. What he lacks in style he make up for in enthusiasm.
5) He is always ready for some good snuggles at the end if the night. This really helps me feel less lonely.
6) He's the best foot warmer I could ever want.
7) He is always ready to eat anything I cook him. Yes, I make my own dog food from time to time. He's always appreciative.
8) He is a great excuse to get out of plans I'm too polite to decline. "Sorry, I have to get home. My dog needs to go outside" is a common one.
9) When I'm sad he will bring me every toy one by one until I play with him.
10) He makes me feel more okay with my weirdness because he is above all things: one goofy dog.
Thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
