So, my friends lives with his parents out in a yurt. His parents have to lab mixes it rarely goes below the 30s here, and I started worrying about their dogs just randomly. They have a big kennel with a tarp over it, and two dog houses inside, with blankets and stuff. Seeing as they are lab, they most likely have double coats as well. I kept telling myself all of that, and kinda got over it. I think its cruel, but I dont think its animal cruelty. Well, immediately after I calmed down from that, my friend who I was talking to on playstation online, said he went to go check on his tortoise in his green house. Hes said he was pretty sure it was warm enough, and that hes not worried. The fact that he felt the need to say hes not worried, gave me the ideas that he was in fact worried.a good green house is usually 20 degrees warmer than outside, so all it has to do is drop down to 30 outside, and it will just barely be warm enough, but I also think he also said that he has heat lamps in there. The tortious is like six years old, and I would be as worried if they had kept outside all that time, because than that would tell me that he knows what he is doing, if the tortoise survived that long, but they only started keeping it outside about a year ago, so this might be like the first winter its outside. Other than what he tells me about the tortoise (very little) I have know Idea what goes on. I have a terrible habbit of worrying about other peoples animals, so my mom told me those animals are not my responsibility, so don't worry about it. I know they arent my responsibility, but I'm aware that these animals may be being mistreated, and I'm not taking action. I feel pretty strongly that I'm over reacting, but I'm not sure. I'm currently worrying about 5 other animals at the moment, and I dont want to be worrying about these extra three now. Its exhausting.
