I moved into my first house yesterday. Yay! I had previously lived in a smallish two bedroom apartment for the entirety of my cats' lives. My cats are 7 years old, and they are sisters from the same litter.
After some coaxing, both have ventured our of the basement where I put them during the move. However, they won't stop hissing, growling and swatting at each other. They're usually sweet playful kitties. How do I get them unstressed out so they stop taking it out on each other?
