I'm dogsitting and the dog seems to have a lot of very obvious dandruff. His hair is short, smooth and dark, which makes it very obvious. I'm not used to seeing dandruff on a dog, but the only other dogs I know have been long and light-haired, so it would not really be noticeable if it was there.
So I guess I'm wondering if dandruff is normal for dogs and how much is normal.
