Over reacting question about my cat?

(TLDR at the bottom)Just a quick backstory. I had an old cat and a 2 year old cat, the old cat right before she died was peeing ALL the time. We had to get another litter box because when we were at work she would fill up the litter with pee. All she would do was pee and drink water.

After she died we kept both liter boxes for my other cat, she barely ever pees but poops like crazy. She actually uses one liter box for pee and the other to poop. It’s funny and cute.

Anyway lately she seems to be acting weird, I think she has a UTI because she keeps cleaning herself BUT she has ALWAYS been the type of cat to overly lick herself clean ever since she was a kitten. My only concern is she will clean herself but will still smell like pee sometimes.

I don’t know what she averagely was peeing before as to now because our other cat died last month and haven’t noticed my current cats pee schedule. (To know what is normal or not)

My boyfriend says I’m over reacting because this cat is my best friend and world so when she even blinks differently I think something is wrong.

Well, I went to clean her water bowl and noticed a lot of biofilm (I think) on her bowl. It is glass, and there was a lot of clear goop on the sides. I give her fresh bottled water every day and rinse out the bowl every day but I clean the bowl once a week. I will be cleaning it daily now.

But lately whenever I’ve been giving her food and water she meows like she wants more food or more water and I just assume it was her noticing the biofilm (?) and wanted me to clean the bowl.

But I read that biofilm will give your cat liver/kidney problems and UTIs and was just wondering if you guys think I’m over reacting? I just got a new job so I won’t be able to take her to the vet for a few weeks which I need to get her teeth cleaned sometime anyway.

TLDR: think my cat has a UTI bc she doesn’t pee very often, also noticed biofilm possibly in her water bowl and I’m worried it cat her a UTI because I think she’s acting weird. But I over react to my cat doing different stuff so I can’t tell if being paranoid or if this is rational. Everyone else thinks I’m crazy.
