My rooomate and I adopted two kittens from a random girl whos cat got pregnant on 1/1/18. We've since had a falling out and she's told me when our lease is up in NOV of this year she will be taking both of the cats. She says she has text proof of me saying SHE could get cats but we've both been taking care of them, we've been splitting the costs. Up until now I've considered them our cats. I'm not sure who's on the vet documentation but I have months of cat food purchases through my pets smart account and toys and everything from amazon. Can she just take them like this? They're not microchipped yet
