A bit if background information: we live in Australia and stray animals are definitely not common at all. Especially in the suburbs where I live. I believe a cat dropped it off at our house (apparently this is very common behaviour for cats) or some people didn't want the kitten so they dumped it (there are many families with pets in our neighborhood).
Anyway, this kitten is tiny and is living underneath our house. We are feeding it kitten food and water which it comes out to eat when it feels like but it's too scared to come near us. Even if it seems us it will run back under. This situation slightly improves when I play music designed to soothe cats with anxiety but we still can't go near it to help.
Is there any way I can make the kitten warm up to us? Any advice would help!
