My gf(19F) informed me (18M) her dog is being put down tomorrow. It all happened very suddenly as she texted me last night saying her dog was throwing up and didn’t seem like he was doing well. Today her mom took him to the vet and they said he needs to be put down tomorrow. Her dog means so much to her and is 13 so he’s been with them for a major portion of her life. I want to help her cope with it but I’m not quite sure of the right things to say. We also can’t see each other in person right now because her parents are strict about self Isolation as her grandmother is living with them at the moment.
