This is heartbreaking :(
I've had my dog for 7 years since I was a teenage girl going through the normal teenage girl stuff. We always stuck by each other and I never thought I would stop loving my pitty.
1 month ago a pregnant cat was hanging around my house so I let her in and she gave birth to 7 beautiful kittens in my bath. I was overjoyed and so happy! I thought my doggy was too. She seemed so kind and caring. But then one day I was making dinner and I noticed she was playing with something – a dead kitten :'(
I thought the death must have been natural because I'd always known my doggy to be so kind and caring... but then the next day it happened again :( This time she ate the whole mid section of the kitten and was playing with the head and legs. I felt so bad!
I decided drastic measures needed to be taken so I kept my pitty outside. But every opportunity she would force her way inside and run straight for the kittens. I have a lot of visitors so she got inside a lot. Now all kittens are dead :'( I couldn't stop her.
I feel totally different about my doggy now and I don't even let her inside anymore. I throw some food outside the door when she needs to be fed and apart from that I don't even see her anymore. I used to see a kind loving soul when I looked into her eyes. Now I just see a cold blooded killer. I can't get over this.
