I have two dogs, AJ (11) and Tank (5). They are both ~20lb terrier mixes. Today Tank kept trying to play with AJ, but since AJ is older and stubborn, he wasn't playing. So then Tank spent a lot of time trying to sit on my lap and whining. While the cuddling part is not abnormal, the whining is.
Is there anything I can do to help Tank adjust to the fact that AJ is aging and won't be his play buddy as often?
