I have a 3 month old male german shepherd. I have had him since he was 7 weeks. (I know that is too young to take from their mom but breeder gave me little choice if I wanted him). I have contacted all the other owners that took his brothers and sisters, they are not having the same problem I am having.
He will lick, kiss and be sweet, but when he wants to play he continuously wants to gnaw on my hands and arms. I try to distract him with toys and they work for some time. I have given him treats when he let's go on the "no bite" command, but eventually he does it again.
My hands and arms are constantly tender now and the bones in my hands hurt.
Is there anything I can do?
